The Sun is the first issue of the strictly limited Solar System Coin Series. This amazing silver coin features the beautiful sun in the colors yellow and orange. The motive is surrounded by the orbits of the nearest planets together with the inscription “SOL”. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the reverse is surrounded by orbits and the astronomical symbols of each planet in our solar system. The sun is a nearly perfect sphere of hot plasma at the center of our solar system. The sun’s diameter is about 1.39 million kilometers. The sun is the most important star for the earth and it´s organisms. The silver coin comes with a certificate in the original box of the Mint.
