Struck from a 1/2 ounce of 99.99% pure gold, the coin depicts the iconic goddess "Walking Liberty" by Adolph A. Weinman, striding towards the rising sun. Also included in the design are the inscriptions "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year of issue "2016". The reverse of the coin features a bald eagle, America's emblem. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar gold coin is delivered in the original box of the United States Mint including a certificate of authenticity.
