The seventh issue of the British Lunar Coin Series is dedicated to the Year of the Rat. The bullion coin was struck by the Royal British Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The motive depicts a rat and the chinese sign for "rat". Also in the design included are the inscriptions "YEAR OF THE RAT 2020" and "1 OZ FINE SILVER 999". The Rat is the first of 12 animals in the chinese zodiac calendar. The silver bullion coin is delivered in a capsule.
