STAR TREK™ Discovery™ was released on 24 September 2017 and is the sixth live-action series set in the STAR TREK™ universe. The first silver coin features the First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) in color. Silver coin number two shows the U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031™ against an intergalactic background in color. Each coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2018 year-date. The two-coin set is packaged in a case designed to look like a STAR TREK™ Transporter and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
