This 2020 Libertad gold coin set from the Casa de Moneda de México consists of a total of five coins - 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz and 1/20 oz - all struck from 99.9% gold in proof quality. All five gold coins in this set show the Mexican goddess of victory Victoria in front of the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Mexico surrounded by ten historical forms of the coat of arms. The Banco de México has been issuing the Victory Goddess "Libertad" as a bullion coin since 1981 - and since 2005 also as a collector's version in proof quality. The gold coin, which is also called Onza, has no fixed denomination and is nevertheless considered a legal tender in Mexico. The coins included in the strictly limited gold set are delivered in protective capsules.
