The coin struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure gold with a genuine diamond is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II. Since 1952 she is not only the Queen of the United Kingdom consisting of Great Britain, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, but also of 15 other sovereign states belonging to the Commonwealth, such as Australia, Canada, St. Lucia or Tuvalu. Her coronation took place on 2nd of June 1953 in Westminster Abbey and was the first celebration of its kind to be televised. The motive of the coin shows a young Queen Elizabeth II. equipped with pieces of the British crown jewels. In addition to a crown and the orb, she also carries one of the sceptres from the valuable collection. At the tip of the scepter, a genuine diamond is inserted on this special coin. The design includes ornaments, which suggest decorated church windows. The obverse also bears the inscriptions "HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II" and "LONG MAY SHE REIGN". On the reverse is another portrait of the Queen, framed by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "NIUE 2020", "100 DOLLARS" and "1OZ 9999 GOLD".
