This 100 Euro gold coin has been issued by France on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the starter-kit as well as the introduction of the first French Euro coins. The motive depicts two different versions of the Sower: in the background is the traditional depiction of the sowing woman as it was minted on the franc since 1898. In the foreground, the original face of Rosalinda Pesce - the woman who inspired engraver Oscar Roty to create his design of the "Sower", is shown for the very first time. The rising sun and 20 stars, which also refer to the anniversary of the starter kit, are featured in the background. The denomination "100 EURO" is also part of the design. The reverse shows the Euro coins that were originally included in the starter kit, as well as the inscription for the occasion of issue "2021 - 20 ans du Starterkit". The limited commemorative coin in proof quality is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
