The Australian "Lionfish" is already the fourteenth issue in the well-known "Deadly & Dangerous" series. The lionfish is native to coral reefs in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean. Lionfishs are one of the top predators and are noted for their venomous fin spines, which are capable of producing painful, though rarely fatal, puncture wounds. The 2006 Redback Spider $1 regularly sells at around $1,200, the 2008 Blue-Ringed Octopus $1 can fetch over $400.
