Chinese astrology is over 5000 years old. It indicates the character and destiny of a person. The twelve animals that make up these cycles give their names to the years. In 2019, the Perth Mint celebrates the Year of the Pig, the twelfth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. This set consists three beautiful coins (1/2, 1 and 2 ounces of silver) in proof quality. All three coins features the same image of a domesticated pig, along with four piglets. The Chinese character for 'pig' and the inscription 'Year of the Pig' are part of the coin design. The years of the pig include those born in the years 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007 and 2019. This silver coin set is limited to just 1,000 sets and is presented in a stylish red and black case. The wonderful set comes with numbered authenticity certificate in an illustrated box.
